spleen blossom
the title comes from venting one’s organ (as the spewed lyrics suggest) and (probably) the fact that nirvana’s nevermind and songs like “in bloom” were huge at the time. best guess, that is. oh, and we were listening to the jerky boys’ prank phone call tapes a lot in those days, before somebody decided they needed a record and movie contract. that’s the sample at the start.
So, one day, I was walking through a farmers market, in the Town of Renslearville, Ny. With my wife Dee, Little bro Shaw n’ his mega-dope fiancee Celeste, and our puppy Mojo, Checkin’ out the great local produce etc, and Mojo spun, ‘cuz she gets distracted by shouty things, and I found myself face to Coat with Andy Rooney. Isaid, pulling my face frome jacket “I’m soo sorr..Whoah”, and, he said ” “s’Aight(paraphrase). Good to know that the rooney summers near my families farm?…Oh, and I think that Scott’s best friend wasn’t a slut, but perhapse a can of beans?
